I would be in for four (4) sets of steam and four (4) sets of B/Y diesel.

It seems to me that the black and yellow diesel locomotives have the majority of request for decals followed by steam. I think we are up to 37 sets of the 50 required, that's a great start!!!

If it'll help the cause, I'll take half a dozen of the HO black-yellow diesel sets. Incidentally, do we have any idea what the price is likely to be?

We are up to 43 sets of decals. Most of them are for black and yellow diesel locomotives. Should that be our first set to have manufactured? Please post your comments and suggestions.

I added up the number of sets requested for the black and yellow diesels and it comes to 41 sets. Passenger, steam and freight were the other choices with about 10 sets each. We are almost to our goal of 50. Pat would you contact the decal manufacturing facility you talked with and see how much it would cost? If anyone else knows a decal manufacturing spokesman please contact them and ask for a quote for a run of decals.

We just need a few more commitments for the black and yellow diesel locomotive to start the decal special run process. I increased my comment from 3 to 6 but we still need 6 more. If we can get this set going it will open the door for other decal sets.

I would take 6 sets for the B/Y diesel (HO).

If we could get a set of Frisco Lines heralds (HO), I would be in for 10 sets.

OK that's 50!!! We can start the process to have a decal special run manufactured. I think a run of HO decals would be the way to go first and N scale next. If someone objects, please let me know. Now we need to figure out who we want to do the run. Any suggestions?

I noticed Pat talked to a spokesman at Mask Island Decals. Does anyone know how to contact him?

Could we add some yellow E-8 stripes in that B/Y diesel set? I would in for 4 sets in N scale when you get around to it. Ed

I emailed a decal manufacturing facility, Precision Design Company, that Don had written about and talked to William Brillinger. He was asking for the PMS code. Does anyone know where I can find the code? The email address that Don gave is:

    Re: E unit decals...

An entirely different ball of wax than a freight B&Y set. E unit sets would likely needs to be its own run.

Well, there never was many in the game, Champ was the go to place for 50 years? more? And I really prefer old time waterslides. I would be in for 5 or more of these diesel sets, just to help the rest of you get this order done. And I do like and own 1st gen diesel. That way, he might need a smaller pre- order for steam and caboose sets, and I would order however many it takes to have some of those.
It would be nice to know how many models can be done on a sheet, and a ball park price would be good too!

To support the cause, I'll take two (2) black/yellow diesel HO diesel sets. I have several Microscale HO sets in reserve, but a new alternative source would be welcome.

I emailed Mask Island Decals about making a special run but haven't heard from them vet. The run I requested was for a lot of 75-100 sets. Will let you know as soon as possible. The website for Mask Island is:

I received another email from William Brillinger. In it he sent a color chart so we can pick out which color looks best. I'm no expert in this but I would guess the R+4W+Y would be good. What do you think? If none of the choices are correct then we can go with another color. He's still asking for a PMS code.

Guys who want Frisco decals have said they would buy 61 sets altogether. That's Great!!! Almost all of them have requested B/Y diesels. Who has the graphics and the color code?

I have the old Oddballs B&Y stripe set in both O and S I think. I can part with one, but I need it back in case this is a bust. (So I can pursue my own avenue of reproduction if needed.)

On my monitor, R+4w+Y is too lemon yellow. Very much like the too lemon yellow Oddballs used.

Again, on my monitor, R+2W+Y looks closer.

I haven't a clue what a PMS code is, but suspect it's similar to an RGB number. (Red/Green/Blue values.)

Edit: And William Brillinger represents what decal company?

Edit 2: Actually, I have past experience dealing with a certain woman and PMS... but I don't think that's what he's talking about.
