Just discovered the pic of GP38-AC # 651. Been looking for one since I obtained the number board from her on E-bay. My thanks again!

Ken, p287 of FRISCO POWER is devoted to DIXON HILL, in part:
It describes Lt. Abert's original survey and his warning against Dixon Hill and its steep slopes. His plan was to avoid the hill completely, crossing the Gasconade River at Arlington, skirting the rifver bluff and thwarting the hill with a series of tunnels. It further describes the reasons for abandoning this route and going over Dixon Hill.

Hey Ken, I received the kit today. Thank you very much! Upon opening I was delighted to see how the kit was. Resin's don't look as intimidating as I thought. I will surely do a build on it and post up pictures. Thanks again!

      Rick -

I know - I just passed through 1000! Kind of scares me, I don't have that much to say! I hope I'm not a bore to the group. I gotta get a life I guess.

      Ken

ps - We will be in Olathe Thanksgiving week, probably Tuesday PM thru Saturday AM.

      Hey Ken,

You are only 7 posts away from 1000? Seems like we ought to have a party or something when that happens.

Don't forget, you still owe me a visit when you are in Olathe.

      Rick
