Thank you, Doug, for the nice compliment on my Salem Branch layout. Looking back, some of the details on it are very crude. I work for Progressive Rail now, and am based out of Lackland on the former Rock Island Subdivision 18 between St. Louis and Union. The condition of the line, plus the terrain that it passes through reminds me of the Salem Branch in the early 80's.
