Hey Manny, the mouse pads look awesome, all of them! I really like the one of Jim's train pulling into the station and the SD45 no. 911. You definitely have a customer in waiting.

I shipped you some trees today via UPS. Have fun with them. Let me know when they arrive and what you think. Feel free to modify to suite your area.

Thanks for that. I'm going to have to "get me sum" and get creative. That lights only decoder sounds like it would be a good choice for my caboose. Good find, Manny!

I made a trip to Greenbrier today and brought home plenty of ballast material. I call it the Greenbrier Ballast and Soil Company. I will dry and sift some bags for your developing right of way. Give me a few days to process it and I'll notify you upon shipment.

Tell you what, Manny. You get the domes and spoked pilot truck or wheels from eBay for me and I'll make it right with you. That is, if you're getting some stuff anyway. Let me know. Even if I use my Roundhouse 4-4-0 I'll still need detail parts. The driver diameter is within an inch of the prototype. I'll have wait for it to arrive and check it out. The cab roof would have to be changed.

No worries. I'm just stirring up some fun at my own expense:) I do like the BNSF because they keep the old Frisco lines in use. I'll do a BNSF diorama someday but all layout plans are Frisco focused. Are you making sawdust soon?

Hey Manny, any layout progress? I've slowed down but still moving forward. My next big project is the Castor River bridge and Fall scenery. Hope all is well.

      Hey,

Sadly I did not find the Mellor kit of that number or any number. With all the dealers there today I was expecting to find it. I had my buddies look for it, too. Guess you'll need to keep looking.
      Best, mike

Early 1900's San Antonio fictionally (almost reality!) absorbed by the Frisco when Yoakum put 13 million into the San Antonio & Aransas Pass Railroad (That happened!). In April of 1902, the Frisco purchased the SA&AP, but at the comptrollers desk, just before the Comptroller was to seal the deal and stamp it, lawyers from the Southern Pacific barged in with a court order stopping the deal. Through dirty dealings, the SA&AP was stripped from the hands of the Frisco, and entered in the hands of the dirty SP.

My railroad, the SA&AP and the SAF&N, which was the San Antonio, Fredericksburg & Northern, is a fictitious merger that was created when the Frisco became the controlling interest as if the 1902 sale that was advertised in the New York Times was completed. This merger gave the Frisco access to the sea on the Texas Coast in Corpus, and Aransas Pass, and up into the Hill Country to Kerrville, and to Fredericksburg, eventually set to merge with the Frisco Line in Brady, TX.
