Thanks, Andre, that does help. I wonder if the decals would also work on a black/yellow GP35 and a black U25B high nose. The only thing I see as a problem will be the size of FRISCO on both of these units. By comparing the pictures in Frisco Diesel Power by Marre on pages 58 of the GP7 and page 106 of the GP35 and page 107 of the U25B it appears that the lettering might work. Another possibility is using the RS2 FRISCO on an as built FM. By comparing the photos on pages 51 and 53, I see that the font is the same. Again, the size of the letters may be the only problem, but without a painting schematic to actually measure the letters, I couldn't decide if the letters are the same. Maybe someone could answer these two questions, because that would give even greater flexibility to this decal set. I will definitely buy these decals, the only question is how many. I agree with Joe and others who have thanked you for you hard work on this project. Terry

Hello Guys, Been reading the posts on the Decal Run for B/Y diesels for lettering, etc. I would go for 2 sets of decals if they include QA&P and all stripes, chevrons, sub-lettering. Price sounds good to me. How about some assorted QA&P Heralds as well as with "The Transcontinental Cut-off" slogan done in white? I know this goes totally off of the B/Y sets for the defunct Oddballs set. Just got a set of the #180 w/ QA&P lettering. We need a good variety of QA&P heralds done as well, etc. Guys, keep up the good work!
Was I correct to assume that the AT&N sublettering from the Odd Balls set will be on the Black Cat set as well?
Yes, the run will include AT&N sub-lettering. Joe: As I said in the above update, it will be June before the artwork will be started, and that depends on the two runs before ours encountering no delays.
Andre, will the QA&P be in the decals sets? You stated that the AT&N will be in the decal sets and I think the QA&P should be in the sets too! I can't think of any other rail lines besides those two. When should we start collecting the money for the decal sets? Would the whole month of May be ok? I can collect the funds if everyone would be ok with that. Joe

It's been over 2 months since the last post. Has there been any news/updates/etc., or are we simply waiting patiently on production? In March I saw "six months" in a post. Are we still expecting a finished product some time in September/October?
Last correspondence with Black Cat Decals was 6/8/16. At that point my understanding was that (seeing as no official Frisco lettering schematics have come forward) Black Cat would move forward with what we have to work with (the defunct Oddballs set). I have just sent an "update please" type of email to Black Cat Decals to let us know at what stage the project is at. More info when I know more. Andre

I have not received replies to my inquiries in over three months as I recall. There is no phone number listed at Black Cat's website with which to have direct person-to-person contact. I have no answers to offer, or a directional path to suggest at this time. Basically: I"m at a loss and haven't a clue what is going on with Black Cat Decals.
