4151 is sitting in the Newburg yards catching the last rays of the afternoon setting sun waiting to leave with a westbound manifest. She is one of the three 4100s fitted with a Coffin Feedwater Heater. Pretty soon she will be doing battle with Dixon Hill.
Too bad the photographer didn't have an assistant with a fill-in flash farther down the line. Night photos tend to really focus the attention on the subject of the photograph. Great job!
Yes, Jim, Zalma is not the only place with a talented photographer who rides in a time-machine. Newburg does too! George
Just think how good 4151 is going to sound a few miles down the road when she blasts past Alhambra Grotto and the Knotwell furnaces while making her run for the hill! K
I know next to nothing about steam engines but that thing has a huge boiler on it, looks all business. Thanks for showing us. Tom Holley
