Got this Hallmark Caboose, it had some damage, needed to be re-soldered in a few places. Fortunately, I got it pretty reasonable. Anyway painted it up Silver, Gloss coated it, added the decals, dull-coated put some chalks on it dull-coated again. Learned a few things on this like, I need the 250 Watt soldering capacity, the 100 Watt is just not enough Wattage to do the heavier brass parts. Biggest pain was adding the glazing especially to the cupola. I still need a MOW Gondola for this train, it's getting long enough now gonna have to find a track to hold it now. I might have another place to lay another few feet of track on this outfit.
    Thanks for stopping by.

Really neat, you know I like that kinda stuff. Course I'm sure you know the Memphis Wrecker had a similar caboose. I am not sure when the Silver came to being, it was on the Tie Gang, when I started. The camp and tie down cars along with the wreckers and my favortte the Diner. Great Job.

Nice job! I bet it feels heavy. I really like the paint job and marker lamp brackets.

Tom, I just noticed your post for the caboose-very nice, indeed! Where did you find the yellow backed herald? Larry
