    Folks, the Micro-Trains Missouri-Illinois special run boxcars are complete. There are still just over 100 cars available for purchase. These cars have not been announced outside of TrainBoard (and here) but will be announced to other sites soon. The 100 cars will probably sell fairly quickly.

    Are these the N scale or HO? (I'd like to price and place the order for the HO cars if they are ready.)

    Micro-Trains is N scale code for "Not HO".

    Craig,

    We are not close to the numbers we need for an HO run. Initially there appeared to be a lot of interest but it looks like we are far short of where we need to be to make this work. It takes time to get numbers so I will keep this going for a month or two and if we get up to 150 people (orders) will make this happen. Stay tuned for more...

    Just bought one. Should look good behind my SD45. The build date on it is the same year I was born which is kind of cool.

    Charlie...it might be a good idea to reiterate how and where we can indicate interest, etc. for an HO run. I don't think this is well publicized as to how to sign up. Who's marketing the "potential" HO version?

    Buck,

    The HO car would probably be manufacturered by Atlas. Problem right now is, they don't have the right car so nothing is set for sure. The HO thread about this is here.

    Thank you, Charlie. The Mike n Ike is a favorite of mine and I'd sure like to see it get done. I asked a few of my friends over at the MPHS and they seemed to be totally in the dark about the project. I'm sending the link.
