I was at the Mid-Continent Region NMRA meet in Wichita last weekend and got to see Bob Wintle presented with MMR 419. Congratulations to Bob. Who is next? Model IT on the Frisco! Rick
Thank you to all who have commented, you are too kind. Becoming an MMR is not really that hard or complicated, one just has to set a goal and go for it. I am just an ordinary guy who happens to love trains and model railroading. I had lots of help and inspiration along my journey. I must thank a few of you on this site. Rick McClellan,Bob Hoover Mike Peters and Richard Napper. You all know the part or parts you played in me becomming an MMR I could not have done it without your help and encouragement. Another person who had a big role in my becomming an MMR is not on the Frisco.org site and his name is Marty Vaughn. Thanks to all of you for with out your help I would have never made MMR. Frisco.org was also a huge part of my making MMR what a wealth of information and encouragement. If you are not a member of the NMRA I would encourage you to join. The people and the getting together make being a model railroader just that much more fun. If you are a member of the NMRA and not a part of the Acheivement Program I would encourage you to start your journey towards MMR. You will be surprised at what you will learn. New skills that you can pick up and making new friends along the way are just a couple of things that you will enjoy by being a part of the Achievement Program. Thanks again to all! Bob Wintle MMR Parsons, Ks.
I always had faith in you. You just needed to believe in yourself. I'm very proud of you. A job well done. Love ya man. Mikey
Congratulations again Bob! It is a well deserved honor and I am very happy for you! Bob Hoover FriscoFriend
