Athearn 40' Frisco RTR Trailers

    Got these two 40' RTR trailers removed the paint. Did some minor mods to the undercarriage, decaled, and weathered with chalks and airbrush. I could have spent a lot of time rounding off the front corners and removing all the molded on stuff. I just did some quick mods to make it look a bit more believable. Mudflaps made from paper Blackened with a marker pen. 010.JPG 012.JPG

    Nice job my friend! They look like they have been on a long run through some rain storms!

    One added thing you might want to do would be to dirty up/rust up the small dolly wheels on the drop stands. Those things were always pretty cruddy looking.

    Yea your right, those ;little wheels are tortured, scared, and rarely even round anymore.
