    Interesting that the StL-KC Rock Island line is not shown on the map. I'll have to look it up and see when that went in, or was added, to the system.

    It wouldn't show up until 1902-1904, which is when the Rock Island completed it from Union to Kansas City. The line had originally been called the St. Louis, Kansas City, and Colorado when construction began in the 1880's, but it wasn't completed until it came under the ownership of the Rock Island around 1902. It stopped in Union prior to then.

    The CRI&P(acific) became the CRI&P(eoria). My bad guys. I know it by the latter not the former.
