Livestock Operations - Materials and Resources Needed

    As Keith notes, the March 1, 1946 Rule Book points to federal and state rules, which the crew are required to follow.

    Rules 925-927 cover the handling of live stock and attendants.

    Will post those rules in January.

    Growing up in Springfield the son of an extra board switchman I was at Springfield Yard fairly often.

    Dad was transferred in 1959 so I am not really sure on this but I think there were stock pens just east of the Yard Office.

    Was there any livestock traffic on the Memphis-Amory-Birmingham end of the Frisco?

    It could make for a fun addition to my eventual Southern Division layout.
