Zephyr Blue & Gray (or White) Paint Scheme...

    A good real world example of what is probably correct would be the head end cars that were done for use on SLSF 1522 excursions. The colors were well researched by the SLSTA folks who knew what they were doing.

    Perhaps Don could comment on what colors they used.

    When we painted our support cars for 1522, we chose US Paint catalyzed urethane two part (similar to Imron but we got a break on the price) The blue in their book was called "Flag Blue" and we chose white for the stripe. All we had was a color photo of a train backing into Union Station. The roof was light gray and the trucks black.
