It's time for you steam folks out there to start thinking about Frisco 1060-1069 4-6-4s in HO. These are advancing to the serious planning stage and I will be able to work with you on prices.

Retail is probably going to be about the same as the Firefly pacifics and I will know more pricewise later as planning goes on and there's a quote from the builder. These will be top quality models and we are still deciding on how many versions to run. There will be an unstreamlined version with a choice of pilots and main drivers. I'm thinking there will be at least two if not more versions of the skirted ones with different lettering/striping/pilot/main driver choices.

So plan on what you may want and get in touch and I can "soft" reserve now and when they are announced, I will have more particulars. Charlie Dix, I am still having the problem on Frisco.org with new paragraphs. Nowhere else but here. Making me crazy.

Don, count me in at least for an unstreamlined one. I would have to think about buying more than one. I am very happy with the Firefly engine, and am looking forward to the cars later this year.

Thanks Terry. I've had a couple responses via PM also, so the ball is starting to roll.

    Don,

I would be interested in a stainless-steel semistreamlined version with Scullin center drivers. Thank you for sponsoring this effort. These engines are simply beautiful.

Don, which was housed in the Newburg roundhouse? I think I remember reading it was the 1066. 73

Doug, I don't know of any particular one that was a hanger queen there. Must have been protection power, but I would have thought they would have a 1500. The 1060s ran on 5 and 6 quite a bit in later years.
