I just read a post on Trainorders.com that said Martin Lofton of Sunshine Models passed away yesterday. Marty was a good guy and a good Frisco fan. He will be missed. His wife stated she would like to keep the business going.
I hate to hear that. I need to see what kits they have that I could use and help her out with some business in support. I should have checked them out sooner. My condolences.
Likewise. Sad news. Martin was a good guy and a friend. He did great things for the model railroad community, and provided us SLSF fans with not only excellent Frisco model kits, but excellent Frisco background information as well. I met Martin at the 1981 FMIG meeting in Memphis. Ken
