SLSF 182-187 diagram

    Here is the diagram for Frisco's little "roadsters", 4-4-0 American types SLSF 182-187.

    These were originally built by Pittsburg Locomotive Works around the turn of the century. The Frisco rebuilt them and modernized them significantly in 1928-1929. In their role as light power for short local trains, they made quite an impression!

    The before look is depicted in the attached diagram. Front end throttles, super heater, and thermic siphons made them "state of the art". Too bad the Frisco didn't put one in the city park in Clinton, MO.
