I have a small Scotchlite Frisco herald that measures 3 inches across. I believe that these heralds were used on MoW, highway vehicles, buildings, lunch boxes, just about anything.

What I need to know is the various sizes that they came in. I am guessing there was a 6 inch and 12 inch decal but would like to be certain. If anyone knows the various sizes that these decals were made it, would you let me know.

    Thanks.

    Karl,

Thanks! I couldn't find this thread.

You know 1 scale foot in HO is approx 1/8 inch. Will modelers be able to see that?

Were there any of these decals larger than 12 inches?

    Thanks again.

Rick, I wonder if any were available in 24" size. That would be basically the size of the coonskin on the smokebox doors of the steamers.

The steam engine "coonskins" had numbers, the decals they put on the highway trucks had "F-R-I-S-C-O."

Understood - but think I remember seeing some later diesels with the Scotchlite coonskins on the front that appeared to be about the same size as the coonskins on the smokebox of steamers.
