Let's start a new thread. But, don't forget there are still a few very nice items still unspoken for in Naples Update 2. If you don't like my price on an item in "2", make me an offer. I'm not trying to get rich here, I'm just wanting to move this stuff out as I have no home for it here, and I want it to go to a good frisco.org home.

Here is the final bit of Frisco art I have. Yes, again it is of Alco FA1's/FB1's. This is a print of the well known Howard Fogg rendering of SLSF 5217 and its mates thundering through Nichols, Mo just outside of Springfield on a stormy night. The print is in good shape, rolled up in a shipping tube, ready to be framed. Dimensions are 13.5" x 20", with a 1" white border surrounding the art. Nice and moody! See the pics.

Price is $14. I'll pay the shipping via the mailing tube. Payment via personal check or PayPal "friends & family". Thanks.

Let's try some more motive power.

Here is a FP7-F7B set from InterMountain, in the black and yellow decor. The FP7 is SLSF 5048, and it has been detailed by me with the correct horn, improved www, speed recorder, green anti-glare nose top, black handrails, detail accents, etc. I think I wrote an article for The Meteor on this, but it might not have gotten published before Richard Napper passed away. Smooth running motor - it runs well with Athearn Genesis and Kato power. Kadee compatible couplers, great detail, good lettering, a faithful b/y scheme once I did the green on the nose.
The F7B is SLSF 5135. Same smooth power as the FP7. I have not detailed the F7B, so it is as delivered, which is very good. Yes, however, this is one of the IRC F7B's I raised cain about as it has d/b, which of course, the Frisco did not have on any F7's. Easily fixed - IRC will send you a d/b-less roof panel if you want it. I have them, too, somewhere! Again, Kadee compatible couplers.
These two are the only well done b/y Frisco FP7's or F7B's I know of.

    (These items are sold)

Price is $140 for the pair, plus $13.45 for Priority Mail flat rate box shipping. Payment as noted above.

Here is a hopper car that is perfect for the late steam era, total b/y era, and early o/w era - a black Frisco AAR 2-bay offset side hopper. This is Atlas #18909. Crisp, white lettering and coonskin. Metal Kadee wheels, Kadee compatible couplers, brake hoses, and I have added a realistic coal load. In original box, door beam add-on parts are in the box. Nice car. The SLSF had gobs of these, in both black and red oxide colors.
Price - $11, plus $7 shipping. Can be combined with others to save shipping costs. Payment as above. Thanks. (This item is sold)

Here's a big one for tonight - listed right now on eBay for $108. SOLD

Athearn #95383, Frisco EMD SD45, SLSF 911. This is an excellent model of this big brute, and is mint in an unopened, sealed box. SLSF 911 is the Frisco SD45 with the red coonskin logo on the nose, and this is reproduced faithfully along with the several other details the Frisco put on their SD45's. This is an excellent model. Very good shade of red/orange, crisp lettering and numbers.
Price to frisco.org members- $82. Shipping is $11.50 if shipped alone, but $13.45 if shipped in a flat rate box ..... which gives the buyer the opportunity to add one or two of my other freight cars I have listed with no shipping cost as they will be able to ride along with the SD45 in the flat rate box. Take a look and consider this option. Payment as above - personal check or PayPal with the "friends & family" option.
    Thanks.

Here is a very nice model of the Frisco/s 45 ton 3-bay coal hopper built from kits in the Frisco car shop in Springfield. (See the small Frisco coonskin on the car sides from the car shops). This is Bowser #55110, done in black with white lettering as SLSF 88989. SOLD
Note the neat "Frisco Crisco" lettering on the car sides. I added many features to this car - Kadee 100T wheel sets, Kadee couplers, a Kadee brake wheel, Cal-Scale brake hoses, and a very realistic CM Shops coal load. Car was built in early 1983, well into the o/w era. Very nice car, typical of Bowser kits. See pics.
Price is $13, plus $7 shipping via Priority Mail. Payment as described above. Thanks!

    modeltruckshop -
Thanks for your purchase. Yes, the Athearn SD45 (SLSF 911) and the Bowser "Frisco Crisco" 3-bay are still available and are yours per my listing above.

Thus, total payment for these two is $82 (SD45), $13 (hopper), and $13.45 (Priority Mail flat rate box), for a total of $108.45.

Please send me your shipping address!

PayPal payments can be sent to meteor910@mindspring.com Be sure to specify "friends & family" to avoid the fee.

ps - Sorry for the delayed response. I've been away from home all day. I thought full retirement was supposed to be relaxing and full of leisure time!

Oh no! You wonder where you found time to work. For some of us, there are trains to watch! (...and Warbonnets to count!) :)

Let's try some Frisco Accurail models. These fine, very affordable models are not always exactly true to the prototype, but they always look like it. I find these kits very enjoyable, easy to build, and always a good addition to the roster.

Given the value price these are offered for, why not try to add a car from "Naples Update 2" via a bid per my notice at the top of this string. Two or three Accrual boxes can be fit into various Priority Mail boxes, allowing you to double up on shipping and enjoy a nice savings.

Here is Accrual #3729.2, a 41ft AAR steel gondola done handsomely as SLSF 55093. Nice trucks, Kadee wheels, Kadee couplers, Cal Scale brake hoses, are included with each. Price - only $10. Shipping is $7, but with the purchse of another one or two, you can enjoy considerable savings on shipping cost. This is a 1951 era car - would look fine behind b/y or early o/w diesels. Payment as noted in the above listings. SOLD

    Thks

Here are two Accurail USRA 55-ton two-by hoppers, both Accrual #2507 kits, done in the attractive red oxide scheme with white lettering and a black & white Frisco Lines coonskin logo. The two road numbers are SLSF 88120 and SLSF 88129. Nice trucks, Kadee wheels, Kadee couplers, brake hoses, and a CM Shops coal load are included with each. Price - $10 each, shipping for one, $7, but I suggest you add another car to share the shipping. Two or three cars can be combined into one box. These are 1928 ACF cars, but they lasted well into the b/y locomotive era. Payment as above. SOLD

    Matt -
The three Accruals above are yours. Thanks ..... again!

If you want them sent right away, cost would be $30 plus $7 for shipping in a regular Priority Mail box. Or, we could wait and add it to the others you have coming in the most efficient manner. Let me know.

Today's postings - three Frisco locomotives, a NIB (new in box) Frisco U30b XR, and two little guys, 45 ton 11-spot and 70-ton 12 spot, both not decorated.

First, the U-boat. This is Atlas item 10-001-154, the low nose Frisco U30b XR series SLSF 846. This item is new in the box, mint, DCC ready, and has Atlas' usual excellent red/orange color for the o/w scheme, and smooth performance. This locomotive is currently listed on eBay ranging from $99 to $170. Price to frisco.org members is $82, plus $13.45 shipping via USPS Priority Mail flat rate box. Neat locomotive, excellent graphics, the XR really looks good. See pic.
Payment as usual - personal check OK, but prefer PayPal "friends & family" option with no fee. Thanks! SOLD

Now for the "little guys", for you who would like to have two of the more unusual Frisco locomotives on your roster.

First, Bachmann Spectrum item #85202, a GE 45-ton switcher like the one used on Blakley Island (sp) in Mobile, AL. This model is not decorated with Frisco markings, but is painted in black & yellow. It differs in a few details from the actual 11-spot, but this is a close as you are going to get in a plastic body, smooth running HO version. It runs very nicely, slowly, and the connecting rods on the two trucks are really neat to watch. DCC ready.
Price to frisco.org is $49, plus $13.45 for the usual Priority Mail flat rate box. Unique locomotive! Payment method same as described above. Thanks. SOLD
