Chris - We've not made the run over to Jupiter yet, but will. I have some good Monsanto friends who have places in Jupiter. Earlier, we did make it down to St Pete several times during spring training to visit Caroline's mom and dad who lived in Dunedin. I even got on the pre-game KMOX broadcast once then with Jack and Mike as you could walk up to the top of the seats and easily speak with the announcers. I had about a 60-second interview with them as a visitor from St Louis down to see the 'birds. Don and Rosie Wirth were listening and heard it. We have journeyed up to Fort Myers twice to catch the Cardinals play the Red Sox at Jet Blue Park, Boston's training facility. It is really neat - laid out just like Fenway with a Green Monster and the same dimension field. This last spring, we tried to get tickets for a Cardinal game with the Twins, who also train in Fort Myers, but all they had was standing room, so we passed. Ken
Now that would be something like! I would have been too stunned to talk. At best, I've only been able to mumble a few words when I've been next to Cardinals' greatness. You might need to build a portable workbench to take a modeling project or two down to the beach, or to a spring training game.
Use plenty of Deep Woods off, you know Zika is down their. They must be attracted to all the heat and humidity.
We are pretty fortunate at Pelican Bay. We have no mosquitos to speak of along the beach. You go inland to take a walk along the streets, here they come. Needless to say, we do our summer walking along the Gulf of Mexico beaches! Ken
