The following links are to a seller that has warm LED lighting in strips 5meters long (about 16') that operate on 12vdc. The strips can be cut into small lengths, 3 LEDs long and used as sets or can be cut and soldered to feeder wires for groups (multiples of 3), still all at 12vdc. They are a nice brightness level and the product has pressure sensitive adhesive on the back. The product was developed for under-counter lighting. The first link is to the LED strips and the second to a stand-alone power supply for the strips. I have bought six sets from this seller. http://www.ebay.com/itm/160589823445?ru=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.com%3A80%2Fsch%2Fi.html%3F_from%3DR40%26_trksid%3Dm570.l2736%26_nkw%3D160589823445%26_fvi%3D1&_rdc=1 http://www.ebay.com/itm/160681960739?ru=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.com%3A80%2Fsch%2Fi.html%3F_from%3DR40%26_trksid%3Dm570.l2736%26_nkw%3D160681960739%26_fvi%3D1&_rdc=1
Keith, I really like the look of these. This may solve the problem I've been pondering recently on how to add "task lighting" to our expanding Northern Division. Thanks for the heads-up! How is your River Division coming along? Best Regards,
There are numerous sellers here in the U.S. Search for 300 LED Warm White Flexible and check the box in the left US Only.
How about lighting for a layout that does not have any overhead? I am thinking of track lighting on the ceiling with spot lights but I don't know if that will work without shadows.
