We are getting a reprieve from the heat somewhat. The forecast doesn't have as many 100 degree days. The graphics below was broadcast last night at 10:19pm and it is 90 degrees. Right now it's 89 degrees.

The next 10 day forecast is calling for more hot weather, just what we need. It rained for a short time yesterday afternoon and it cooled off a little bit for a few minutes but then it turned into a hot and humid day, it was really miserable.

They changed the forecast for today and tomorrow, today is going to be 102 degrees and tomorrow will be 106.
!!! Ouch !!! The heat index is going to be in the 110 to 118 degrees range. I think summer is in full force, there was one summer we had 44 days straight of 100 plus temps.

Here's the 10 day forecast from last night, July 25, broadcasted at 10:19pm. We have a regular cool spell going with one morning showing 59 degrees.

This morning we were in a car wreck and totaled our Ford Escape, Cynthia broke her index finger on the left hand and I broke there ribs on my left side. Otherwise we are good. We're scheduled to buy another SUV tomorrow morning. Just need to get the accident report from the police station.

I'm in the hospital for back surgery, it was at 9:30am Monday morning. The surgery involved fusing L4 & L5 together with a titanium plate and four screws.

The surgery went well and I feel much better. Should be able to go home about 2:00pm.

Cynthia and I are all healed up and feeling great!!! It's nice to feel normal again. Thank you to all of the people who gave us the well wishes.

Our weather is going from cool to cold later this week. Friday morning will be our first freeze for the season. The photo attached was taken at 10:18pm Monday night.

Yup, the lawn mowers go in storage after this week!!!!!

 

We got two inches of snow yesterday morning, it stayed mostly on the grass. At least the streets were only wet. This Friday it's supposed to be in the 60's. Our weather is like that, cold one day and warm the next day.
