I live in DFW, and the main interest motivating me to join the group is to tap into the collective wisdom of the list members on the SLSF operations on Blakeley and Pinto Islands, in Mobile, AL, in preparation for preparing a "virtual" model for use with N3V train simulator software.
Welcome to the group, Noel. I've always thought that Blakely Island would make a fun little switching vignette for the modeler who doesn't have a lot of space. I'll look very forward to seeing your results in V-scale! Best Regards,
Welcome to the group. Check out the V-Scale part of the forum and become inspired by some of the fine work there. George Nelson
There was a good article on this operation in, I think, "Railfan & Railroad". Have you seen that/ Ken
