If you would look at the Made In USA emblem, the material looks woven and a different shade of color than the photo above it. That looks like a different material unless a different lens was used for each photo. I am suspicious also!

Another question would be: Where would the Frisco have used it?? I remember Frisco flag poles at the Springfield Depot and yard office where the poles displayed the American flag and below it the white (with green cross) safety flag. Don't recall any "Frisco" flag.

I was looking thru some books.
I haven't seen a Frisco flag yet. Not saying there aren't any, but I have seen a single image of a flag.

I have never seen a Frisco flag, flown anywhere on the railroad.

If you look on Ebay there are a ton on identically sized railroads (all at $39.95) for railroads such as NKP, RGS, TPW etc. I think someone has sanned logo images and is trying to pass them off as if they have seen actual railroad service. I would keep my powder dry as this is a fantasy flag..

I was pretty sure it was a creation of art for sale as opposed to an actual artifact.

Nice looking flag, would be neat to have one on display at frisco.org meetings, or at your table at a swap meet.

    Almost certainly not legit.

Interesting that it says it is used.

For me, it's still neat enough, as long as people don't think it is or is based off of something real. Not sure its worth 85 bucks though, notice how the coonskin is "bled through" to the other side so that it is a backwards image on one side. Looks to be something you'd just hang on your wall above the layout.

I am in the process of painting my own Wabash Flag. For as famous and widely used as it was as an emblem and promotional tool on the railroad, to the best of my knowledge it was never incarnated in the form of a real flag that the railroad flew. Go figure.

Maybe we should just have some made and sell them ourselves!

Charlie, I was thinking about making and selling the Frisco flags but not sure if anyone wants one because they aren't an original item.

If anyone wants a Frisco coonskin flag please let me know here on this thread.
I guess I'm talking pre-orders. I will post the price at a later date. Just need to know how much demand there is so I don't waist my time researching for a manufacturer.
