For you diesel guys... HO Yard Sale. Athearn BB SD40-2, Frisco, #954 and WV Caboose for sale. I know y'all are picky on the Frisco Orange so take a look. If it is correct maybe y'all will want to snag it. Manny
Where is his listing and for how much? This is the easy to find (cheaply) Atlas Caboose that has the wrong cupola. Also I believe that the SD40-2's are still available new at a discount. If this were an SD45 that would be a different story. As far as the color issue is concerned, Atlas for several years has been regarded as the standard for getting the orange correct or as close to correct as anyone ever has. After working with them, Athearn matched Atlas's color starting with the SD40-2. I need to add that these are less than representational pictures of the true color of both the locomotive and the caboose.

Right on about the Frisco orange. BTW the Overland International Wide Vision caboose orange seems to match the Atlas, Athearn orange. Have I died and gone to heaven already?
I already have two BB Athearns, and IMO the color looks OK to me. I need to add details such as nose Gyralite, grab irons, lift rings, etc. to make them more like proper Frisco diesels.
