We have not seen anything from Manny, with all the flooding down that way. I hope it is all OK for him.
I sent a "how are you doing" PM when the San Antonio flooding hit the news but no response. He's probably building something awesome for his future layout.
Hi Y'all, Thanks for the concern. I'm alright. No damage here, as I live on the high side of town. San Antonio sits at the base of the Hill Country which is 800 ft above sea level. San Antonio is a considerable drop and in a bowl, so it just fills up with water, which y'all saw on your local and internet news. From there it's all downhill to the coast and the border. Twelve inches of rain fell in six hours. Medina River crested at 33 ft, which is 13 feet above flood stage. It was disastrous for folk in and south of town. Two died because they failed to listen/head crossing warnings. One was a 60 year old man while the other was a 20 something year old girl. Sad. I've had one of my down weeks, where the motivation among other things haven't been there. I was finishing the Schober car and messed it up. It is now 86'd and I have to start all over again. Ah well. Thanks again for caring.
Glad to hear you kept your powder dry. I know what you mean by being in a modeling slump. I'm sure we all do. Now get busy with your fine modeling!
