    Mannay,
Very interesting 1916 public timetalbe for the Frisco Lines. I find it interesting that the C&EI RY connection to Chicago is shown because the O.R.E.R. at that time do not have the C&EI RY as owned by the Frisco.

I have a lot of other maps but not sure if they would apply here. I have the CE&I, Rock Island, and a few others. I was going to post the Rock Island up, but it appears it is just after the split up with the Frisco: 1915. If y'all still want it, I'll post it.

Manny, please post the Rock Island map on a separate thread, under the Historical, General tab. I believe we can allow that lattitude due to the relatively close relationships between the two road at this point in time.

I was never quite sure when the Frisco became independent from the Rock Island. Interesting how much can happen in 60 years. The Frisco was struggling early on while the Rock Island was thriving. By 1975, the tables had turned. The Frisco was very well run and profitable while the Rock was drowning in misfortune.

Since I feature both of them on my layout, I'm glad to see the historical connection. But even if there wasn't, I'd still model both of them anyway. My two favorite roads.

My understanding Pat is that the Frisco/CRI&P breakup occurred during 1913 on paper, but exactly how quickly it happened on the high iron I'm not sure. That is why I posted up the Rock Island information because it is so close to the "Yoakum Empire" breakup.
