That makes sense. There is no Zip Code or postal zone in the Frisco building address. Poslal "zones" came into regular use in the late 1940's and Zip Codes didn't come along until 1963. Tom G.

The document is definitely post 1942; under Boubon County it states the county produced 189,644 tons of coal in 1942.
I noticed the map of Kansas has a couple of errors on it. They didn't highlight in red the four Frisco lines in and out of Pittsburg and they put in red the Katy line from Columbus to Galena instead of the Frisco line from Baxter Springs to Galena. I would agree that this is from the forties, has some really interesting information. John Chambers
