To an Administrator: I can upload photos to this message forum, but can't to My Album. Tried deleting a few photos, thinking it was too much, but no difference. Something on my end? Thanks. Dan
When I tried to upload to my album, "Dans Stuff", I got a URL tag at the bottom of my screen, and nothing else. I waited what I thought was a long time, and clicked " upload photos" again, with the same results. Not the case when I loaded them to this message board. Confusin'! I did this several times. I even tried to create a new album, but still could not upload the photos.
Ok, still not sure what you mean unless you mean at the bottom of your browser the URL that shows when you mouseover something. Do you have pop-up's blocked because the asset manager pops up in order to let you upload files. Charlie
Well, the Popup blocker was on, and I turned it off. I will probably have to wait till I re-boot my computer to see if it worked. Oh, well, at least I was able to post at the message board! Dan
I created a photo bucket account and uploaded some photos for the sole purpose of inserting them on frisco.org. I clicked on "Insert Image," then "From URL." I had the photo bucket website open in another tab, I've tried to open different photos and copy their URL's (one at a time of course) into the box under "From URL." When I click OK, I get a message telling me that it is an invalid link. I've wasted many hours today trying to insert 26 layout photos into a post. I used two different computers, converted file types, etc. I just never could get them to upload from a computer. I thought maybe if I could get them on a website with a URL (which I did), I could then copy and paste the URLs into the box and upload them that way. I am so frustrated that I am ready to just forget the whole thing. I know I have seen photos on frisco.org that people have inserted from photobucket, flicker, etc. Can someone please help me. I'll even give you one of my URL's to try. http://s1298.photobucket.com/user/trainchaser007/media/GEDC0008_zps7ffbf469.jpg.html?sort=3&o=28 If you can post this image in a reply to this thread, I sure would like to know how in the world you did it. Thanks. - "a very frustrated" Brandon
Well, I finally got it... I think. I just right clicked on the picture in one tab, clicked copy, went to a new post, right clicked, clicked paste... and here is a pic. Time to "Submit Reply" and see if it shows up. Cross my fingers! Just clicked "edit" to come back and say...SUCCESS!!! Now it's time to upload some photos!
