Don, what technique do you use for attaching the safety chains on the tender trucks?

In a word...fabulous! Need to get cranking on my 4-6-2 that's been in the backshop for an eternity.

    Best Regards,

Wow, Wow, Wow - You may not be able to play a musical instrument, nor dance very well ... but your shortfalls are more than made up via your use with a torch and back shop abilities. A real treasure!

    Don,
She's a sweetheart. She looks even better in person.

I soldered one end of the chain to the trucks and soldered a .010 piece of wire on the tender frame and threaded the other end of the chain onto it and put a dab of canopy cement on that end so the trucks can be removed if needed.
