Hi. It's been a while. We've had some visitors from St Louis, plus both my wife and I had minor medical procedures to take care of. Back on line now! First of all, I'm surprised there has been no interest in the Athearn RTR Frisco SW1500 I posted. It is a terrific model and if I didn't have the model I did a while back from the older Athearn SW1500, I would not sell the new RTR model. Perhaps the price was too high - so I've lowered it to $77 (from $85) and lowered the shipping cost to $10 (from $11) as I found my mail scale and no longer have to guess on Priority Mail costs. So be it - take a look at the revised SW1500 listing just above. Thanks. A couple of new listings to follow Ken
Next we have a Bowser GE U25b done as a Frisco unit, SLSF 828, in the classic o/w paint scheme (nice shade of orange). It is Bowser item #23381 and is new in the box, though I did take it out and run it around for a while with my other U-Boats. It has been run for well under 30 min, and is a smooth runner. There are added details in the box, and it is DCC ready. Price is $75, plus $11 shipping via Priority Mail (weight 1.6 lbs). See the pics. As before, payment by PayPal "friends & family" preferred, but USPS money orders or a personal check also work. I always liked the Frisco's U-Boats, both in b/y and o/w, in particular when on a hill. They smoked a bit and made that great chugging sound from their FDL engines. Thanks. (SOLD) Ken
And, here is an Athearn Genesis GP15-1, in Frisco o/w colors and done as the class unit, SLSF 100, from the SLSF 100-124 group. This is a Genesis model, so it has Frisco specific detail (nose gyro light and plow pilot, for example), plus I detailed it up a bit. Runs great, looks great, numbers, lettering, shade of orange, all good. See the pics. It has less than an hour's running time on it. I noticed the rear platform railing has come out of its mounting holes - must have been from the move as it was not that way in StL. Easy fix, but wanted to note it. Price is $75, plus $11 shipping. Payment as noted above. Thanks. (SOLD) Ken
Here is the final (out of roughly 15 or 16) Stewart undecorated HO F-unit models. As described before, these feature an excellent rendering of the F7 body and, to top it off, a Kato drive that is smooth as silk. But, this final offering is one of the hard to find models - an F7A Phase 1 Late, which the Frisco used, with the double headlight option. See the pics. This comes undec with a package of F-unit Blomberg truck details, and the smooth Kato drive. One feature to understand, the Stewart body comes with d/b, which no Frisco F7 had. Easy to sand off, however. This excellent, smooth running model comes with a price of $35, plus $11 shipping via USPS Priority Mail. Thanks. payment, as above, via ayPal "friends & family" option, to personal check or USPS money order. Thanks. Ken (SOLD)
Steve - You have it. Thanks again! Another "U-boat" for your pike. $75 plus $11, total of $86.00. You know the drill on payment - prefer PayPal "friends & family" as you know. Let know if you need any details. I'll get 'er packed! Ken
Craig - You have it. Thanks again! I'm now out of Stewart "F's". They went fast! - but I kept four to finish off (F3A "chicken wire", F9A, and two Kato chassis to power my two Highliner body shells (A & B). Haven't decided what to make from them yet, though a F9B is highly likely as the first project). $35 plus $11, total of $46.00. Let me know if you need any details for payment. Ken
Thanks Ken. I'll send it via PayPal friends and family when I get home from work today. I have your info (email address) as long as you haven't changed anything.
Thanks Roger! Actually, the shipping would be $13.45 for both of them in a medium flat rate Priority Mail box, plus $77 plus $75 for the two locos, for a total of $165.45. You sent $163. That's close enough. I'll get you packed up. They won't go out most likely until tomorrow as we have a full day today. In any event, you, plus Craig and Steve, will probably get your items Monday. Ken
There you go, I sent the extra $2.45. Is there any way you can secure the back platform rails before shipment? Hate to break that. Roger
Roger - I think they are secure now. The engine secure in its original Athearn packaging. Nothing can get to the rails. I'd raher not open everything up as I have no tools here to do any work with. I think it is an easy fix once everything is opened. K
Steve - Your U25b is on the way. USPS says Saturday or Monday delivery. Craig - Your F7A is on the way. USPS says Saturday or Monday delivery. Roger - Your SW1500 and your GP15-1 are on the way. Same as above, USPS says Saturday or Monday delivery. Enjoy! Ken
By the way, those of you who, like me, are doing a lot of Priority Mail shipping, be advised that the rates have gone up as of Monday, 1/22. I knew the 1-oz first class stamp was returning to $0.49 (from $0.47), but I was not aware the priority rates were going up as well. They all have - check the USPS web site to get the new numbers. Ken
DRAT .. Dragged my feet too long on the GP-15. Still himing and hawing-lol. Naw .. really don't need another shelf model right now.
We have essentially reached the end of the list of items I wanted to sell off. Thank you to all of you who took advantage of the offers. Enjoy your items! However, I may have a few more items to post; I'm debating that question on a few items I originally planned to keep. Stay tuned! Following is a list of the items I posted but remain unsold. If any of you are possibly interested in any of these, but think they are listed at too high of a price, I'll offer an alternative. Send me a private message, tell me the item you might be interested in, and tell me what you would be willing to pay for it (plus actual shipping cost which I will advise). I'll consider your offer and get back to you. No promises, but as I originally said when all this started, I'm not trying to make a lot of money, but instead desire to move my stuff off to folks who will appreciate it, and get some value for it in the process. I promise I will not get upset at a low bid, and ask you not to get upset if I say no to your offer. In that event, I will offer a counter. Let me know if you have any questions. Ultimately, what is unsold will find its way to eBay ….. when I get up enough time and energy to get back into eBay!
