Microscale Liquid Decal Film, item #460-117

They say apply the coated decal like aregular decal. That suggests the setting solutions will work, but I have never tried this stuff.

Is MS Decal Film what Richard was talking about? Is it the same thing, or something else? And is it applied before or after decaling the model?

Yes, same stuff. Before applied to model. Coat the entire decal.

You are supposed to let the MicroScale decal film dry for 15-20 minutes after applying it in a thin coat to the old decal surface. Then you apply the decal to the model as you would a new MicroScale decal.

I've only used the MS film once - on an ancient (from 1978!) set of MS 87-85 Frisco decals that were cracking in one or two places on every application. It worked - I was able to successfully apply the long "FRISCO" name decals without them breaking apart, yet the setting solutions still worked as normal.
