Thank you folks for your site. I have lived in Grapevine, Texas for the last 20 years but was born and raised in Indiana. Grew up watching coal drags on the old C&O going from S.Ohio and W.Virginia to Chicago. Lotsa Penn Central and Norfolk and Western action too. It's all gone now. Upside is that N.Tex is still pretty good. I am a big fan of keeping the memory of the fallen flags alive. I collect HO and used your site to figure out a DCC wiring issue on an early Proto E8 and I thank you all for your help.
welcome on board. I'm sure what ever problems you have, they can be solved with information from here.
DFWDude, sounds like my experience with the Proto 2000 E8 was useful. Welcome Aboard! Take some time (lots) to see what else we have to offer here. It just keeps getting better as more and more people share the stuff they have squirreled away.
Hey DFWD--Do you ever go over to Discount Model Trains at Addison? Model railroad "hog heaven" if there ever was one! I'd rent a room there if I lived down that way! I was only there once and I could have spent $10,000 there if I hadn't got a grip on myself! Tom
The E8 DCC install is found under Frisco Library, Modeling of the Frisco, Electronics, DCC: http://www.frisco.org/vb/showthread.php?t=2861
