    Greetings all,

I was emailed this business car photo, ;) I felt compelled to share with the group,

I have to model one of these for an operating session. Perhaps to be pulled behind the Hindsight Industrial Railroad's "business train".

Perhaps a car with more capacity would be in order for our operating sessions. ;)

Apparently there were at least a couple of these cars in the series.

I need one in ATSF blue and yellow and the tribute will be complete.

Perhaps I'll crank up Photoshop tomorrow.

It's obvious that none of you guys worked on a system maintenance of way (MOW) gang before these became a standard amenity.

One of these is the Taj Mahal compared to an empty spike can. :D

Are these what they call "self contained Methane generators"?

For those who are creative, a self powered one on the layout would be really cool.

Well sooner or later, someone will suggest somebody should do one of these for the Frisco.

    Let's start the debate! ;):D:rolleyes:

    Should it be:
    - Frisco steam engine black with a graphite door and a red roof
    - Frisco freight diesel black and yellow
    - Frisco passenger diesel red with gold stripes outlined in white (sounds pretty nice!)
    - Frisco passenger diesel red with dulux stripes
    - Frisco freight diesel Mandarin orange and white
    - or, Frisco MOW silver?

Think long and hard on this - this is an important choice!

    Ha HA HA

I have to go for the "steam" version.

Self powered of course from methane gas.

    Need to add a smokestack.

After thinking about this a bit, I think we need one more paint configuration: Steam black, etc., with gold Doric trim as in passenger locomotives.

I think steam passenger livery is the most appropriate since the car does carry people.
