Howdy folks, We have a tie. In fact, we almost had a tie between three nominees. Thank you for voting. The 2009 FRISCrg Engineers of the Year are Rick McClellan and Ken Wulfert. Honorable mention goes to Keith Robinson. Congratulations gents! Members of FRISCrg have spoken once again and voted because of the nominees' contributions to the forum and help to fellow members. Thank you for making FRISCrg a focal point for the Frisco's history of people, equipment, structures, and operations. Congratulations, Mike Corley
Kudos to you both, Rick and Ken. You have both individually helped this lad vastly increase his knowledge (and enjoyment) of the Frisco's history and of model railroading in general. Best Regards,
Wow, what a great surprise ! Thank you, thank you, thank you. It is really neat to be recognized by your peers especially for something as neat as modeling the Frisco Railway. Congrats to Ken and Keith as well. We have some very nice and knowledgeable people on this website and I am glad to be part of the fun.
Thank you to the forum for the recognition! I greatly enjoy the interaction, and have learned as much or more about the Frisco from the group members as I could have possibly contributed back. And ..... it's great to share the recognition with Rick and Keith - two fine guys and terrific Frisco folk. Ken
Congrats to Rick, Ken and Keith. Thanks to all for contributing info for me, to give me a good first year as a fan of the Frisco.
OH MY GOODNESS! I was caught totally by surprise! I am honored and humbled. Rick and Ken are both completely deserving as well as many others. Rick, many thanks to you for being such a supporter of Friscophiles and model railroaders. I am in your debt for introducing me to the best part of the hobby - operating. Ken, thanks so much for everything you contribute - both in materials and in knowledge. Karl, I understand, after seeing your contributions this past year, why you were chosen last year. Mike Corley, thanks to you and your tireless efforts this site is freely accessible for all to learn and enjoy! This site has been a Godsend to me and I am certain most everyone else. The best part about it is that by contributing our knowledge, the materials we have, and external sources, we preserve in digital format things that would have possibly been lost to those that follow us - precious preservation of our beloved Frisco!
CONGRATULATIONS to our great trio! As I said in another thread, this site is populated by the best of folk! We all gratefull for your contributions to preserve and educate us about the best Railroad ever ! Dan
Yes indeed, congratulations to all three of you. I Know or have met all three of you. I can call two of you friends and hope to get to know Ken better in the future. Each of you have contributed to not only my knowledge of the Frisco but better than that friendship as well. Keep up the good work and get back to working on your favorite railroad! Ship It on the Frisco Bob Wintle
Congratulations to all three of you! You have tirelessly given in different ways to the betterment of this group! Thanks to your efforts and those of several others, I truly believe this group has no where to go but up!
Congratulations All... I get so much cool information here, and you folks lead the way, along with some others who are probably too numerous to mention. I try to check here daily, although it's often late. (I work somewhat strange hours.)... I digress. Gentlemen, rest in the knowledge and satisfaction that what you share is very much appreciated.
Congratulations to all three of you. I met Keith and Rick at Frisco Fest in Pittsburg this fall. Both were as eager to share information in person as they are here on this great forum. I met Ken for lunch at the Frisco get together at the train show in Springfield but unfortunately had little opportunity to visit, but I do enjoy your posts. Thanks for all the information all three of you guys and everyone shares on this forum. Thanks a bunch to Karl Brand too. I have learned so much from everyone about my favorite parts of the Frisco, the Clinton Sub and the KC West Bottoms. Dale Rush Carthage, MO
Congratulations to all three, and thanks for all your input to this forum. I've learned quite a bit about my favorite railroad from you gentlemen, and I hope to meet you in person someday.
