Can anyone here tell by looking who were the makers of the Frisco wreckers (Industrial, Bucyrus)? Or is there some list showing the manufacturers? (Of course the three big new diesel derricks had Industrial Brownhoist painted on the booms)

    Thanks, Tom G.

Frisco bought American Brownhoist, American and some Ohio cranes. Smaller cranes were Bantam, Little Giant, Burro.
In my opinion the best was American, I ran them all except the wrecker brownhoists. They also had some pettibone stif booms, those were the worst, because you couldn't let loose of the load. I can tell by looking at them, but then again I was qualified on them all.
