I have just received a pre-book notice from one of my suppliers that has a bunch of Intermoutain items listed for pre-booking by December 31st to be produced in the first six months of 2010. Included are the proviously announced HO FP7A and F7B and the PS 5277 Boxcar. This supplier doesn't sell N scale so I can't comment there, but by looking at a previous post I believe by Paul concerning the N scale diesels, this may be a second call for the above mentioned models and if enough reservations are not received, they may not be produced. Please understand that this is just speculation on my part! Bottom line if you want one of these models, you better find a supplier and reserve one by 12/31/09.
Against my better judgement (since they are o/w), I ordered one each of the HO IRC Frisco FP7's and F7B's last night. Don't tell my wife! Bob - I think we might have the same supplier! At least they are on the same timing. I have the previous HO IRC FP7 and two IRC F7B's, all in b/y. I have some issues with a few of the details on the IRC FP7 & F7B body shells (all simple fixes), but can say for sure they run like a watch. The IRC HO drive is pretty good. And, this time, IRC got it right - no d/b's on the F7B models! They listened to the irate screams the first time around - mine and many others. Ken
