  4. Thank God for Air Brakes!!! I love the old RS in the photo I got an Atlas engine at the Bentonville train meet with the same number. Was a great show I'm niow broke!!! I wouldnt wear a suit to work on the railroad if I where him.

    Ship it on the Frisco!!!

    The guy must be some railroad HQ fellow trying to show his boss he knows his stuff!

    Hard to tell but different eras warranted different attire. I have an old N&W promotional film on VHS where the conductor's wearing a blazer-type jacket and fedora over his overalls. From a distance, it may have been hard to distinguish him from a DS if not for the wad of paperwork in his hands.

    Forrest Finch (engineer) is 2nd from left. We went to the same church, and wish I'd had the wisdom to pick his brain when I was a kid. I am fortunate enough to have a couple of his old ETTs.
