SW1500 SLSF 347 - EMD, 1500HP SW1500 SLSF 360 - EMD, 1500HP Here are three shots of Frisco SW1500s from my Enid negative collection. Sorry about the grainy negatives! The SW1500 was (is) a handsome locomotive. Good view of the cab end of SW1500 347 and two side views of Sw1500 360. The SW1500 uses the EMD 645 engine. The HO Athearn SW1500 model is pretty good, the new release even better. I did one about two-three years ago. See the first issue of The Meteor and it turned out great. Ken Edit 3/1/2024: Locomotive SLSF 347 is under the U.S. 81 Highway / Van Buren Avenue overpass on the yard lead at Enid, OK. The yard curves to the southwest from this location.
