Steam loco whistles

    I understand that the 1500s, 4300s and 4400s had "steam-boat" whistles, but what about the other classes? As sound is now the "in" thing with we modellers, and so many of us getting on board (pun intended) with it, I'd really loke to know the sound to which I should adjust my chips. particularly interested in 3800, 1281, 1306, 1618, 1060, 4000, 4100, and 4200 classes. Any help greatly appreciated.

    Jeff, if you are using DCC, Soundtraxx makes a Tsunami decoder with sound from the 1522 on it. You can go to their web site and listen to a sample.
