That, Terry is what we commonly call a doodlebug - otherwise known as a Gas-Electric Motorcar. They were used by the Frisco on branches that had the need for passenger service with baggage, but not enough to justify a full train. Gang, Attached is a short audio clip of a fully restored Gustin-Bacon Volatone dual air horn. Frisco used the Volatone dual types on their 2100 series motor cars or doodlebugs. Volatone quad air horns were also used on some Frisco steam classes notably the 1500s. Ron
