I found this Frisco coonskin reproduction at local Hobby Lobby stores on clearance. I picked up four of them for $6.00 each. I gave one to another modeler, one is hanging in Jerry's Woodswether Cafe where the local modelers/operators meet for breakfast on Saturday mornings, one I kept for myself and the other I gave to the local Dickey's Barbeque store near my house I frequent and where I take my Toyota Technical Training classes to lunch several times a month. They hung it on the wall as you can see.
Good idea, Keith, for giving them to restaurants. I suspect it will pique someone's curiosity and perhaps lead them to taking an interest in a fascinating railroad. Maybe they'd be interested in hanging one in Shakespeare's Pizza. Off-topic, but who's the fellow on the wall? Best Regards,
Chris, that photo on the wall shows Roland Dickey, Sr with Presidential Candidate, Ronald Reagan at a Dickey's catered meal on the campaign trail in Texas, 1980.
Ah, I think I've heard him on the radio locally for the Dickey's that just opened up here in the last year. Best Regards,
