I would need to know what model of signal and whether the LED is white, single color or multi-color, T1 or SMD. I have installed LEDs in heads that had bulbs, and in heads that did not have any lighting installed.

It would be the double headed signal in the foreground, the low green burned out...Also a view of the signal from side & back...Roger

    Roger,
I am not an expert on electronics. I see that the red aspect of the lower signal head is on, are you sure that the green is out or there is a short or an electrical contact not being made at the connecting point to a logic board?
Do you have an LED tester?, that would sure take the question out of the LED/Green aspect.

    Good Luck !
