    Some advice plz.

I recently bought a Stewart VO1000 with DCC and sound, which is a very nice model, but the seller did not have a box. No worries...he was careful in shipping it BUT I need a box.

I'm thinking Reboxx, but have no experience with them or buying replacement boxes. All comments are welcome.

Aren't you going to use it on a layout? I'm wondering whether I should get rid of all my car boxes now that I have a layout going. They take up a lot of room.

You might not be as anal retentive as I. I like to stash everything ..neatly...in their boxes when not in use. You might think twice because - believe me - if you ever have to move all this stuff, suddenly you'll need them. I have all the original boxes for all my electronics, computers, blah blah blah.

I keep all my boxes because I run two different eras and I need a safe place for equipment that is not in use. Manufacturers have developed some very nice cradles for cars, engines, etc that keep them stationary and protected from every angle.

Next time I move, it will be into a concrete condo covered with dirt. Then whoever deals with the mess I leave can do what they please.
