I am disappointed that there weren't any "discoveries" of rare Frisco photos, or little known Frisco experiments coming from Pacific, Mo this year. Don's collection of Frisco locomotive negatives is second to none. -keb-
I couldn't get the picture of the little Frisco narrow gauge engine to upload. I'll try again later. I've been too busy handlaying the east throat switches at Newburg yard. I have to make some concessions due to the fact that I don't have the room that the prototype did, so I have to condense the yard a little and compact the switches for the yard tracks. First attempt at handlaying turnouts, first attempt at curved turnouts also. I'll post pictures when I'm satisfied with how they work. My 4101 walks through the first curved one just fine.
What?... Huh?... (snaps awake)... did someone say a (prototype?) pic of Frisco NARROW gauge????? This I gotta' see!!! Pics? Pics? PICS???? (please) Andre Ming
I may not be right but I think they are referring to a Ride on style park train that runs on former MOPAC lines called the Wabash Frisco and Pacific RR. Ship it on the Frisco!!! Murphy Millican
Karl, now that you mention it, I too missed seeing what the virtual shops cranked out for '09. On the other hand my gullibility had already taken a bit hit when an out-of-state coworker suckered me into believed that a job termination had occurred. Not only are we getting to enjoy the fruits of Don's modeling labors, but his preoccupation with tracklaying helped to preserve my wee bit of dignity just a little more!
