Hello, I am Dan Schroeder out of St. Louis, MO Long time Frisco fan and have even had the opportunity to run over short portions of the former Frisco as an engineer for the UP. I was the pilot engineer a number of years ago for UP train running on the Cuba Sub from St. Louis to Pacific while the UP had a major track work going on. I have made one trip on the River Sub from Lilbourn, MO to Rockview on an empty coal drag out of the New Madrid power plant shortly before the BNSF got that business. (Boy is that a boring piece of track!) Still work for the UP out of St. Louis (only a few months left), mostly to Jefferson City. Yes, welcome aboard! Rockview is near my neck of the woods. My step dad was a signal maintainer for the Cotton Belt in the 70s and 80s based out of Illmo. I'm a Cape Girardeau native. Are you thinking about building a model railroad?
