    Hi all,

I feel like I've asked this question before, but i can't find the answer.

Sometime in the last 5 years or so, there was a picture in one of the railfan magazines ( i think ) that showed some new frisco trailers at the north yard tofc ramp in springfield.

I remember the picture, but I don't remember where i saw it, and i don't think all the magazines with frisco content made it into the right box when we moved last year.

Does anyone remember the photo I am thinking of, and can you point me to the source?

    Thanks,
    Paul

After months of looking (off and on, interrupted by another move) I think i found the pictures I was looking for.

It turns out they were not in a magazine, but on the photo CD the Railroad Historical Museum in Springfield put out a few years ago ( see http://www.frisco.org/shipit/index.php?threads/new-dvd-from-railroad-historical-museum.2760/ ).

There are two photos showing 4 or 5 trailers that appear to be new aluminum refrigerator trailers at the North Yard pig ramp. These all have belly mounted refrigeration gear painted red.

There is also a photo showing the east end ramp track. The east end ramp was a metal portable ramp, at least in the 1960s.

The two west end ramps were both concrete, and are fairly easy to find pictures of. One of them still exists, or did the last time I was at North Yard.
