OK, since I'm hearing little positive about the NYC (boo!), I'll keep trying. Do we have any L&N fans out there in frisco.org (hey!, they were smart enough to buy our excess E7's and E8's!). Another stack of railroad related things that survived the onslaught of our estate sale this past weekend was my pile of Louisville & Nashville RR Historical Society bulletins (quarterly now, used to be every two months). I have the issues from February 2003 through July, 2016. They will all fit in a Medium Priority Mail box, which costs $13.45 to ship, so if you will let me make about $16 on the deal, I'll ship them all to you for the total sum of $30. This is for over 55 issues (!) about a railroad that loved Alcos and had a very neat original paint scheme on their E's, F's and FA's. The bulletin is called "The L&N Magazine" and it is well done, with lots of b/w and usually color pics and the usual HS topics - locos, steam and diesel, freight cars, passenger cars, depots, operations, physical plant, accidents, motor cars, etc. These are good reads - published by Kevin EuDaly's Whitewater Productions Company. If interested, let me know via PM. Thanks. Ken
Matt - Got it, thanks! They are still available and yours if you want them. Please confirm. Send me a $30 check to: Ken Wulfert 12 Portland Drive St Louis, MO 63131-3335 Send it ASAP as we will be leaving this address in two weeks and relocating to Florida. L&N is a nice railroad, this is a very good historical society, and they put out a first class publication. You will enjoy them! Ken
Thank you sir, I will have the check in the mail tomorrow. Looking forward to many hours of good information.
Thank you. Your speed is appreciated. We don't have much time left here, and I'd rather not have to haul them to Florida! You will enjoy the L&N booklets. Ken
Matt - Have not received the check yet. When did you mail it; did you get my address correct? We are running out of time. Ken
Glad to hear it, must have taken the long way around. It went out on the 15th. Thanks again, I am really looking forward to reading those when I get a little time. Safe travels Matt
Matt - They are packing us today. I'll try to get your L&N material packed and out today, but it might not be until tomorrow. This is kind of hectic. Ken
