    Howdy Frisco Folks,

I'm looking for siding and CLIC track information for the Eastern Division.

Specifically, Pierce City to Columbus, Neodesha, Wichita, and Ellsworth.

I'm getting ready to release the Kansas Division 5.0, Pierce City to Columbus, for MSTS, and would like accurate siding and industry information.

    Karl,

Could you possibly come up with these?

We are planning a Walk in the Weeds for Friday, 11/27/15

    Keith,

What is the scope of your walk in the weeds?

We will begin in Augusta, KS and work our way east all the way to Pittsburg, KS.

Dinner is planned for a wonderful local family owned restaurant in Pittsburg, Jim's Steak House. Its a must stop if one is in the area.

The Walk in the Weeds involves following railroad right of way and getting out of our vehicle(s) from time to time.

Sometimes it is necessary to literally walk in the weeds to discern or observe particulars of any one industry, track alignment or other item of interest. We make use of every possible research material to support seeing what is or was, including Sanborn maps, photos, railroad maps, topographical maps, satellite images, timetables, well, you get the idea.

Due to impending winter storm warnings, we have gone to an alternate plan close to KC. The Wichita and Carthage Subs will be postponed until next year.

This will be Walk in the Weeds 17 (if I am correct), and is a way and excuse for us to avoid the Black Friday madness.
