    Hi Guys,

Does anyone have a copy of Model Railroader from June 1984 featuring Jan Jester's "Newburg on the Frisco"?

Could you please scan it and send me a copy of the article as I am very keen to see this layout, its scenery and operations.

In fact does anyone have any photos of the layout at all they can email me?

    Very much appreciated

Matt, Jan's layout had extensive coverage in early issues of the FMIG NEWSLETTER. Try posts 39, 47, etc from http://www.frisco.org/vb/showthread.php?t=2117&page=2

I can also scan the MR issue for you. The layout was nice, but a divorce was it's undoing. He had to take it off the schedule for the NMRA National in 84. I slept on the couch that week, and the house was filled with tension leading up to the divorce. Jan also had artist Gil Reid staying there. I was Gil's transportation all week. We got to visit a lot of those fantastic layouts in the Kansas City, MO area.
