This was taken in 1911 as the boat was heading down the Mississippi after completion at the Dubuque, IA Iowa Boat and Boiler Works. Later became the William V. King.
The ferry B.F. Yoakum was used in railway ferry service on the N. O. T. &M. (Gulf Coast Line) on the Mississippi at Baton Rouge, LA. It was later renamed Willard V. King when rebuilt in 1919.
There are a few pics of this car ferry as the Willard V. King, and a history, in Joe Collias' book MoPac Power, page 292 or so. This was after the Gulf Coast Lines became part of the MP. Darn MoPac took the F R I S C O off between the stacks, though. Ken
